Eagle Terrace and Benchlands

Eagle Terrace and Benchlands began development in the late 1990s along the mountain bench at the base of Mount Lady MacDonald. The lands are bordered to the east by Cougar Creek and the wildlands and Silvertip land to the north and west. The community of Benchlands sits below Eagle Terrace. The community is anchored by the small commercial area at the entrance with a restaurant, café, wine shop, and chocolatier. The soccer fields and playground bring the community together through the spring, summer and fall and during the winter the park becomes one of Canmore’s most popular sledding hills. There is a mix of townhomes, duplex semi-detached homes and detached single-family homes. The community steps up the hill allowing vast mountain vistas from throughout the development.
