The facility now hosts World Cup winter races and countless mountain biking and trail running races in the summer.

Current developments include Spring Creek Mountain VillageThree Sisters Mountain Village, and Silvertip Resort. Other communities in town include family-friendly Cougar Creek, Larch, The Homesteads, The Peaks of Grassi, and Lions Park. Tucked away with mountain seclusion are Rundleview, Harvie Heights, Lac Des Arcs, and Quarry Pines. With soaring mountain views are the communities of Silvertip, Eagle Terrace, and Three Sisters. Luxury homes along the Bow River include Cairns on the Bow, Prospect, Van Horne, Rundle Close, and parts of South Canmore.
